Gossip Girl leading men Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick have split as roomies, US Magazine reports. The gossip rag speculates the reason was because Westwick is a slob and Crawford was fed up with his consistent mess around the apartment.
But come on, Us Magazine. Why would the two biggest male sex symbols on network TV live in the same apartment any longer. Both guy can have any girl they please (or any guy, depending on the validity of the rumors about their sexuality floating around the Internet) and they are millionaire actors on one of the best shows on TV.
Think about it: Ed Westwick wants to watch The Departed on a Tuesday night, but Crawford is sitting on the couch watching the All-Star Game. Since Westwick grew up in England and baseball is extremely boring, Westwick is pissed that he has to sit through a crappy exhibition.
This situation happened about a thousand times to me while I was in college and it certainly happened with these two. I’m just glad that Westwick and Crawford realized that having a roommate isn’t as fun as it seems, even if you’re an extremely popular actor living in an awesome NYC apartment.
In closing, I’d just like to say that my condolences go out to any lady who got off on a Westwick-Crawford threesome fantasy. Sorry ladies.
